Launched globally in 2018 and met with glowing reviews and awards, the Royal Enfield Interceptor and Continental GT 650 are not difficult to like. Affordably priced and well-built, the 650 twins are among the best-selling mid-capacity motorcycles in the world. In the Philippines alone, Royal Enfield has sold close to 500 units of the Interceptor roadster and the Continental GT café racer. Aside from their styling and the delicious rumble of their 649cc motor, the variety of paint jobs has also given the twins a leg up over the competition, which predominantly offers only a handful of colors.

The platform isn’t even midway through its product cycle, yet it already gets fresh palette of colorways to entice buyers all over. The Interceptor 650 will be available in new single-tone (Canyon Red and Ventura Blue) and dual-tone (Downtown Drag and Sunset Strip) liveries, and an updated version of the chrome Mark 2 paint job. The ever-popular Orange Crush and Baker Express—which both debuted at launch—are still available.

The Continental GT 650 is now available in five colors. The single-tone versions are Rocker Red and British Racing Green, while the dual-tone ones are Dux Deluxe and Ventura Storm. There is also a new iteration of the chrome Mister Clean hue on offer.

Commenting on the launch of the new colorways of the 650 twins in the Philippines, Royal Enfield APAC business head Vimal Sumbly said: “The launch of the 650 twins marked a new chapter for Royal Enfield and for the midsize motorcycle segment. The global success of these motorcycles over the last couple of years has been phenomenal with the Interceptor growing the 500cc-plus category by more than four times in India. It also became the best-selling naked motorcycle in the midsize category in the UK in 2020. It is a volume contributor in the Asia-Pacific region as well.”
