Even though it’s the smallest bike in the KTM lineup, the 200 Duke has always lived up to the Austrian brand’s ‘Ready to Race’ motto, thanks to its powerful engine and stiff but lightweight steel trellis frame. With sporting lines clearly borrowed from its bigger brother, the 390 Duke, the 200 is now available with ABS. Even better, it has a “Supermoto” mode that lets you deactivate the rear-wheel ABS so you can slide the back end for some hooligan fun.

With the same 199cc, 26hp single-cylinder engine as before matched to a six-speed transmission, the Duke 200 promises spirited performance. It’s also spec’d with a WP upside-down fork; a WP Apex monoshock at the rear; 17-inch cast alloy wheels with 110/150mm front/rear tires; and 300/230mm front/rear discs by ByBre for solid handling and braking dynamics.

The Duke 200 cockpit features an LCD screen for speed, tachometer, gear indicator, fuel gauge, and engine service reminder. An 11L tank promises quite a bit of range. With an SRP of just P159,000, the 200 Duke looks like a solid deal especially when most of the competition are offering engines in the 150cc of displacement.
