Today, Toyota Motor Philippines officially released the all-new Rush to our market with an exclusive event for the local media. Here are the basic specs and features of the subcompact SUV (yes, SUV and not MPV).

There are three variants in two grades, all powered by a 1.5-liter dual VVT-i gasoline engine (102hp and 134Nm) that’s mated to either a four-speed automatic gearbox or a five-speed manual transmission.

One important thing to note: The G grade is configured as a seven-seater, while the lower E grade is a five-seater.

  • Rush 1.5 G AT – P1,070,000
  • Rush 1.5 E AT – P988,000
  • Rush 1.5 E MT – P948,000

Six exterior colors are available: Black Metallic, Bordeaux Mica, Dark Red Mica Metallic, White, Silver Mica Metallic and Bronze Mica Metallic.

To give you a clearer understanding of which specific features differentiate the two grades, here is the list from Toyota:

The Rush comes with a three-year or 100,000km warranty. So, what do you think? This or the Mitsubishi Xpander?
