Honda PH now releases limited-edition Civic and BR-V

Honda Cars Philippines seems to be on a roll when it comes to creating special (and very limited) editions of its vehicles. The company has done this with the City-and-Jazz subcompact twins. And now, the BR-V and the Civic get their own sporty, small-quantity versions as well.

The seven-seater BR-V now has a Prestige badge and will be available in Taffeta White and Modern Steel Metallic. And just to make this thing as exclusive as its name suggests, only 210 units will be offered.

Of course, the popular mom-mobile has additional niceties that make it worthy of its stately emblem. Making the P1,075,000 BR-V Prestige, er, prestigious are the following cosmetic bits:

  • Prestige Design black front grille
  • Front- and rear-bumper skid garnish
  • Tailgate garnish
  • Rear spoiler
  • Prestige Design 16-inch alloy wheels

At the other end of the product spectrum, the Civic RS Turbo CVT is designed to carry two fewer people than the BR-V but transport them in a more expeditious manner. And Honda knows that fast cars look good in vibrant colors. So to match the blazing Rallye Red hue, Honda is giving the Civic RS Turbo an aptly named Brilliant Sporty Blue paint job.

Just like the BR-V Prestige, this bright-blue Civic will be produced in limited numbers—30 units, to be exact. Honda is asking P1,608,000 for each one. If that figure sounds familiar, it’s because that’s the same price as any regular Civic RS Turbo CVT.

Will either one of these cars be parked beside your Christmas tree in time for the Yuletide season? Only you can answer that.
