Maserati is an automaker whose roots are centered around racing. It’s pretty evident with the sportier offerings like the MC20, but the brand wants to extend its sporty DNA to its other luxurious offerings, like the Ghibli, the Levante, and the Quattroporte with a special variant called “MC Edition.”

MC stands for Maserati Corse, and this edition brings nothing more than cosmetic changes. In this case, it’s okay, as it will only be offered on the variants equipped with the famous V8 engines.

These models will be offered in two different three-layer finishes: Giallo Corse and Blu Vittoria. The former is a shade of yellow with blue mica flakes, while the latter has a matte-blue finish. If you’re curious why these specific colors were chosen, it’s because these two are found on the flag of Modena.

The chrome brightwork and wheels are finished in gloss black. They measure 22 inches on the Levante, and 21 inches on both the Ghibli and the Quattroporte. Finally, there are unique badges placed on the rear fender and the B-pillar.

The interior receives special treatment, too. There are blue carbon-fiber parts, and yellow and blue contrast stitching on the Nero Pienofiore leather, contrasted by denim accents. Finally, there’s the MC Edition logo on the headrest and on the center console. Additional features are an electronic sunroof, a Bowers & Wilkins sound system, and the Driver Assistance package.

These special models will be available starting February 2022 in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and the Chinese markets. There’s no pricing available yet, but expect to pay a slight premium for these bad boys. You may find out more about them on Maserati’s website.
