Mitsubishi Motors Philippines has slowly been expanding its black-vehicle range. It started with a stealthy iteration of the Xpander, and then made its way to the Strada Athlete (which already has blacked-out elements to begin with). So, naturally, the Montero Sport is the next to receive the murdered-out treatment.
Elements such as the imposing front grille (with a few chrome bits), front garnish, rear garnish, roof, and spoiler are all blacked out. And just like the other Black Series vehicles, you have the option of getting it in Jet Black Mica for that super-stealthy look, or in White Diamond if you want a two-tone finish.
The interior of the Montero Sport is finished in black leather as well, but you have the Nanoe technology built in the air-conditioning to help purify the cabin. There’s the usual 2.4-liter turbodiesel and a suite of safety features like Ultrasonic Misacceleration Mitigation System, Forward Collision Mitigation System, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Active Stability and Traction control to keep you safe on the roads.
The Black Series is available only in two-wheel-drive flavor, and it costs P1,981,000. The White Diamond paint job is a P15,000 premium. You can visit this website or your closest Mitsubishi dealership for more info.
