Ford is tempting you with P3M worth of prizes at MIAS 2019

Including a chance to bring home P1 million in cold cash

Ford Philippines is another automaker that has a huge presence at the ongoing 2019 Manila International Auto Show. And just like Volkswagen Philippines, it doesn’t have a new vehicle to really draw visitors to its booth. So how about P3,000,000 in total prizes?

That’s right: Ford is giving away that much to all those who will purchase or reserve a brand-new Ford vehicle at the annual car show, which runs until April 7 (Sunday) at World Trade Center in Pasay City.

Here’s the deal: If you buy an EcoSport, an Everest, an Expedition, an Explorer, a Fiesta, a Mustang or a Ranger during MIAS 2019, you automatically get to pick a prize. Up for grabs are premium Ford merchandise, Rudy Project sunglasses, three-year Scheduled Service Plan, and cash discounts amounting to P10,000, P20,000, P50,000 and P100,000. Ford says more than 100 customers may qualify for this promo.

On top of this, if you get any of the above-mentioned Ford vehicles within the month of April, you get a chance to win P1,000,000 in cash. If you make the purchase now until April 7—whether at MIAS 2019 or at any Ford dealership—you will receive three raffle coupons. If you do so at any time from April 8 to 30, you will receive one raffle coupon.

“Our lineup of vehicles is on display at MIAS 2019 for more car fans and customers to appreciate their bold styling and exceptional features and capabilities—up close and personal,” Ford Philippines managing director Bertrand Lessard said. “Our event-exclusive offers and deals make this a great time to buy a new Ford vehicle.”

Noticeably absent from this promo is the Ranger Raptor. While the popular pickup truck is also present at the Ford booth, it is not on the roster of models included in the sales campaign. Which presumably means it sells so well it doesn’t need to be pushed by discounts and prizes. Just a little weird because it was the vehicle the company executives posed with right after the promo announcement.

So, if you’ve been considering a new Ford car lately, now would be the perfect time to write that check.
