Apologies for the lateness of this bulletin. This sales promo is for the month of March, but we only received the announcement from Ford Philippines (or the company’s PR agency) yesterday evening, March 21. Just getting this out of the way so you know we’re not serving you stale content.

Anyway, Ford and EastWest Bank want to offer you the EcoSport 1.5L Ambiente MT with a special deal. If you get this car by March 31st (that’s a Saturday) and via a five-year financing scheme with an all-in down payment of P48,000, you’re entitled to a free first month of amortization. Which is basically just another way of saying you’re being given a discount of P18,000. Which, if you think about it, means nothing after you factor in the higher interest rate for a five-year financing plan. But it works if you’re really planning on paying off the vehicle within that time frame.

If you’re getting the same EcoSport variant also with a five-year financing scheme but with a higher down payment, the first month of amortization is likewise free:

• 20% down payment – free first-month payment of P13,229; or
• 50% down payment – free first-month payment of P8,268.

* The Everest 2.2L Trend 4×2 AT is now available with an all-in down payment of P98,000, or a monthly amortization of P27,452 on a five-year financing plan with a 20% down payment, or a monthly amortization of P17,158 on a five-year financing plan with a 50% down payment.

* The Ranger 2.2L XLT 4×2 MT is now available with an all-in down payment of P68,000, or a monthly amortization of P17,789 on a five-year financing plan with a 20% down payment, or a monthly amortization of P11,118 on a five-year financing plan with a 50% down payment.
