Last month, we told you about the MG 5, the latest offering of MG Philippines unveiled at the Cebu Auto Show. This weekend (October 3 to 6), this compact sedan (with subcompact-level engine and pricing) will be formally introduced to Metro Manila residents via the latest leg of the “MG Live!” concert series at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City.
The occasion will also celebrate the first anniversary of the resurrected MG brand in our market, as well as the 10th anniversary of The Covenant Car Company Inc., the company that imports and sells both MG and Chevrolet in the country.
Besides the 5, MG will also be displaying the best-selling ZS subcompact crossover, the RX5 compact SUV and the 6 liftback sedan.
For the main highlight of the event, visitors will be treated to “a full set” by the band IV of Spades (whose three members should seriously consider changing their group’s name to III of Spades). This is happening on October 5 (Saturday). Needless to say, the concert is absolutely free.
So, if you want to check out the new MG 5 (or any model by the British-Chinese brand), you know where to go in the next few days.
