Judging from the responses we get from anything we post or write about the Toyota GR Yaris, it seems that interest for the pocket rocket is very much healthy. It’s quite odd as the current recession is probably one of the worst times to spend on something small and sporty. But we reckon that Toyota’s hot hatch will bring smiles to anyone who sees it, pandemic or not.

But those who can spare a cool P2,650,000 for the turbocharged weekend toy can’t simply pop into any dealership and wave their checkbook. Toyota Motor Philippines has appointed a select group of outlets to handle sales of the GR Yaris. Called GR Performance dealerships, these are the same ones authorized to sell the automaker’s fastest offering in the country, the GR Supra.
