Time does fly. This week, the long-running Trans Sport Show organized by Tradeshow International is being staged for the 27th time. Yes, Filipino car enthusiasts have been attending this event since the early ’90s. From May 17 (Thursday) to 20 (Sunday), the annual automotive showcase will be held at SMX Convention Center near SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

If the Manila International Auto Show is known for giving the center stage to official carmakers, Trans Sport Show is famous for putting the spotlight on the aftermarket industry, with dozens of project cars meticulously prepped to entertain car-struck visitors.

“For 26 years now, Trans Sport Show has always been and continues to be at the forefront of automotive restoration and car show competitions,” TSI president Sophie delos Santos said in a press statement. “The show has helped hundreds of car shops and individuals flourish in this field—several of whom have become influencers when it comes to car restoration.”

Among the exhibitors at this year’s Trans Sport Show are Alex Car Restoration, Alfred Motorworks, Import Hookup and Vonetix Radical Creations, which will display its 1995 Toyota Corolla that won the “Best of Show” award last year.

Entrance fee is P100 for adults and P80 for senior visitors. Children who measure below 3ft in height get in for free.
