It looks like Hyundai PH is presenting the Palisade at MIAS 2019

This should draw crowds to the Korean automaker’s booth

So, do you want to see this midsize SUV in the metal? PHOTO FROM HYUNDAI

We already told you that Kia Philippines is displaying the Stinger fastback sedan at the upcoming 2019 Manila International Motor Show this week (April 4-7) at World Trade Center in Pasay City. Now it looks like it isn’t the only popular Korean vehicle that will make a grand appearance at the annual event. If the signs we saw are accurate, the Hyundai Palisade premium midsize SUV is also getting the spotlight at MIAS.

How do we know this?

Well, there’s the post by the MIAS organizer on its Facebook page, where it says Hyundai will present the Palisade on opening day, from 1:10pm to 1:25pm. Then we received a soft copy of the final program after verifying the detail with the organizer. It basically indicated the same thing: “Hyundai presents the Palisade” (with the above-mentioned date and time slot).

Of course, we wanted to be 100% sure before passing on the information to you (because how come no one is reporting about this?). So we asked a couple of marketing staff members from the local Hyundai distributor: “Are you displaying the Palisade at MIAS?”

One said: “Can’t reveal yet.”

The other said: “Let’s find out.”

We don’t know about you, but those evasive answers sound like a YES to us. Who knows? Maybe part of the surprise is some Korean boy band performing at the presentation. What do you think?
